Election results: Donald Trump wins New Hampshire primary

See a breakdown of votes and live results as former president Donald Trump seeks a second straight win in his quest for the 2024 GOP nomination.

MANCHESTER, N.H. — Donald Trump took home a second straight win in New Hampshire’s Republican primary after a commanding win at the Iowa caucuses.

It was the former president's first one-on-one contest against Nikki Haley, after Ron DeSantis ended his campaign after a second-place finish in Iowa. Trump is the first Republican presidential candidate to win open races in Iowa and New Hampshire since both states began leading the election calendar in 1976. Haley insisted she will stay in the race even if she lost in New Hampshire.

On the Democratic side, President Joe Biden will not appear on the ballot because the state's primary violates national party rules Biden pushed for. His supporters have mounted a write-in campaign on his behalf to avoid a loss, even though the contest awards no delegates.
