KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee women's basketball will not have center Tamari Key next season.

The Lady Vol announced on social media on Tuesday she will not use her final year of eligibility.

Key is the all-time blocks leader for women's basketball at UT after she passed Candace Parker in her junior season. She also owns the single season record, by passing Kelley Cain in the 2021-2022 season.

She is the only Lady Vol ever to record two triple doubles in a career.

She was a second-team All-SEC selection by the coaches in the 2021-2022 season .She was also on the SEC All-Defensive team.

In the 2022-2023 season, she suffered a blood clot in her lungs that forced her to miss a majority of the season. She returned to the team this past season, starting 14 of 32 games.

She joined the Lady Vols in 2019, the same year as former head coach Kellie Harper who was fired by the team on Monday.
