KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Rising sophomore Mimi Collins will enter the transfer portal, leaving the Lady Vols basketball program. She informed the team of her intent to transfer on Thursday.
Collins appeared in all 32 games last season. She made her first career start in March against Ole Miss, scoring nine points and grabbing three rebounds. This earned her SEC Freshman of the Week honors.
Throughout her freshman season, she scored in double figures in eight games, with a high of 14 points in the NCAA tournament game against UCLA.
An official announcement from the team is expected in the next 48 hours.
