KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee baseball will have quite the lineup for their weekend series with defending national champions LSU.

We aren’t talking about just the players on the field, but the people throwing out the first pitch for each game.

On Friday, the new Lady Vols women’s basketball coach, Kim Caldwell, will throw out the first pitch for the series opener.

On Saturday, VFL Todd Helton, who recently was announced as a future MLB Hall of Fame inductee, will throw out the first pitch.

On Sunday, the Vol hoops star who led the way for the school to make it to the Elite 8 in the NCAA Tournament will do the honors. Dalton Knecht, who is a first-team All-American and SEC Player of the Year, will throw out the first pitch.

Friday’s game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. inside Lindsey Nelson Stadium. Saturday’s game is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. and Sunday’s game will be at 3 p.m.
