Residents asked to participate in downtown Knoxville parking survey

Survey topics include affordability, convenience, ease of location, parking location preferences, quality of parking options and wayfinding signs.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — An online parking survey for all Knoxville residents and visitors is now available.

The city is seeking input for a strategic downtown parking plan. In September 2023, the Knoxville City Council approved Walker Consultants to provide an analysis and recommendations for a downtown parking plan.

The council approved a contract with Walker Consultants to provide an analysis and recommendations for a strategic downtown parking plan.

“This will be the plan that drives our parking operations, policies and regulations into the future,” David Brace, chief of staff to Knoxville Mayor Indya Kincannon, said.
