Maryville crash leaves one man dead Thursday morning

A fatal crash on Lamar Alexander Parkway at 7:43 a.m. Dec. 12 left a 65-year-old man dead.

MARYVILLE, Tenn. — A crash Thursday morning on Lamar Alexander Parkway left a 65-year-old Louisville man dead.

At 7:43 a.m., Joseph Michael Cain turned onto Lamar Alexander Parkway in a Nissan pickup truck from Union Grove Road, according to Tony Crisp, Maryville Chief of Police. 

Officials said he crashed into Nathan Michael Hicks, 30, who was driving a white Dodge pickup truck.

The crash killed Cain, 65, Crisp said.

.No alcohol or drugs were suspected to be involved in the crash.
