KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Time can fly away easier than many people realize when it comes to traveling. Between getting through TSA and finding the right gate, it can seem impossible to ever get to a flight on time.
This is especially true for flights on Nov. 14. McGee Tyson Airport expects large numbers of travelers and flights Thursday, especially between 5 a.m. - 8 a.m., and between 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
The airport recommends leaving for flights earlier than usual. In a tweet, they said travelers should aim to arrive at the airport at least two hours before their flights.
More travelers are expected to make their ways through McGee Tyson Airport as the busiest travel days of the year approach. The weekend after Thanksgiving are generally the busiest, and more people tend to travel as Thanksgiving gets nearer.
