Bitterly cold arctic air moves back in tonight with single-digit lows and below 0 wind chills. Stay warm!!

A very cold weekend is ahead with another round of arctic air moving in.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — It's been very cold this week, including having lows near or below zero! After a few days of slightly warmer temperatures, we are heading back down below freezing throughout the upcoming weekend. So bundle up and stay warm!!

**A Wind Chill Advisory will be in effect through Noon Saturday. Wind chill values in the Valley are expected to range between 0 to -10°. A Wind Chill Warning is in effect for the Mountains through Sunday AM, where wind chill values could range between -10 to -20°.**

In addition to the bitterly cold air moving back in, untreated back and secondary roads will remain treacherous and icy this weekend as temperatures stay below freezing. So while the main treated roads may be fine and clear, getting to them could still be a challenge! Some improvement is expected Sunday afternoon, but especially by early next week as a good thaw moves in Arctic air sticks around through Monday morning, then we finally warm back up next week!
