BCSO: Body found in Fort Loudoun Lake identified

The Blount County Sheriff's Office identified the body as 36-year-old Bill Jesse Miracle.

BLOUNT COUNTY, Tenn. — Update (9/8): One of the bodies found in Fort Loudoun Lake last week has been identified. 

The Blount County Sheriff's Office identified the body as 36-year-old Bill Jesse Miracle.

Miracle was identified by fingerprints, BCSO said.

The Knox County Sheriff's Office found a second body in Fort Loudoun Lake on the same day. They are asking for help in identifying that body.

The Blount Special Operations Response Team recovered a man's body from a lake on Tuesday evening, the Blount County Sheriff's Office said.

The body was found in Fort Loudoun Lake near George's Creek, according to BSCO. 

Officials took the body to the Knox Regional Forensic Center for an autopsy.
