1 German chocolate cake mix
1 small can evaporated milk
1 stick butter - softened
1 bag Kraft Caramels
1 cup chocolate chips

In a mixer combine the dry cake mix, 1 stick butter, & 1/3 cup evaporated milk until mixture holds together. Spread half of the mixture onto the bottom of a 9 x 13 greased pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 6 minutes.
Unwrap the caramels into a microwave safe bowl. Add the rest of the can of evaporated milk. Microwave on high for 2 minutes, stir, and microwave an additional minute. Stir until smooth.
Sprinkle the cup of chocolate chips over the baked cake mixture. Pour the melted caramel mixture over the chocolate chips. Drop by spoonfuls the rest of the cake mixture over the caramels. Bake for an additional 18 minutes.
Cool before cutting. Enjoy!
