KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A car crashed into a West Knoxville veterinary center after the driver suffered a medical issue on April 22, according to the Knox County Sherriff's Office.
The vehicle was turning off of Westland Drive and the driver said she had a medical issue and lost her vision, according to KCSO.
"She then had a lapse in consciousness and drove into the business and struck the reception desk," a crash report from KCSO said.
Two people were injured in the crash. The driver was sent to Turkey Creek Medical Center and the person inside of the building said she was going to the hospital.
