CROSSVILLE, Tenn. — The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting near Crossville.
The CCSO said emergency responders were dispatched to Never Fail Road Thursday at 7:45 a.m. and found a victim with a gunshot wound. The victim was flown to Erlanger Medical Center for treatment.
According to Sgt. Gary Howard with the CCSO, the victim and shooter were acquainted.
The CCSO said the investigation is active and it is not releasing any identities at this time.
