KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Dollywood announced on social media Wednesday that the park would be closing at 4 p.m. and reopening at 10 a.m. on Thursday.
This closure is due to the expected storms rolling throughout East Tennessee on Wednesday evening.
All forms of severe weather are possible but the main threats will evolve through the evening.
Once the strongest storms have moved through, activity may last through most of the overnight hours, leading to a widespread flood threat that could affect the Thursday morning commute.
