This morning, crews with the Knoxville Fire Department responded to a call of a fire at an apartment complex on Lula Powell Drive.
Crews arrived on the scene and saw no visible smoke or fire. They entered the building and found smoke coming from one of the apartments.
KFD went in and was able to put out the fire quickly.
According to Knoxville Fire, the apartment has "significant water and smoke damage." Apartments below that one also suffered water damage. The ones above have smoke damage.
No injuries were reported. Three people in two different apartments have been displaced.
Investigators are on the scene now.
