KCSO identifies man found dead in Farragut golf course pond

The Knox County Sheriff's Office said the cause of death is under investigation and there are no signs of foul play.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Knox County Sheriff's Office said a body was found in the pond of a Farragut golf course Tuesday morning. On Wednesday, the body was identified as belonging to Albert G. Rogers Jr., 65, from Knoxville.

Deputies responded to a 911 call from Willow Creek Golf Course just before 9 a.m. Once they arrived, they found a man's body in a pond, according to KCSO. 

The sheriff's office said the cause of death is under investigation and there are no signs of foul play. However, the investigation is still in the beginning stages and more information be will released.
