KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Democratic presidential candidate, Amy Klobuchar, campaigned in Nashville and Knoxville on Feb. 28 and Feb. 29.
Knoxville's event began at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Hilton Knoxville at, 501 West Church Avenue.
"I just think people are practical here, they want you to get things done and that's what I'm going to do," said Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D, of Minnesota.
"I am the candidate up there on the stage that has a track record of passing over 100 bills as the lead democrat in the United States Senate and no one else who is there right now can make that claim."
Klobuchar is one of eight major candidates running for democratic nomination.
