KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — One Knoxville SC's game against Forward Madison has been postponed.
As ever thunderstorms are happening in the area, the game is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday will move the game.
"Due to uncertain and possibly dangerous weather, the One Knox vs. Forward Madison match scheduled for tonight has been postponed," the team posted on social media. "An announced reschedule date will be announced soon. All tickets purchased for tonight’s match will be honored on the rescheduled date. While this is a disappointment to our players, staff, and fans, we are confident in our choice, in partnership with our facility partners at the University of Tennessee, to prioritize the safety of our community!
The team has won three games, lost one and tied in one this season. Their 10 points have put them in fourth place in the standings.
The team's next scheduled game is on Saturday, May 11 at 5 p.m. against Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC. That match is a League 1 Cup game. It will take place inside Regal Soccer Stadium.
