Food City Center announces rescheduled Aerosmith concert date

The band was originally scheduled to play at Thompson-Boling Arena at Food City Center on Jan. 13, 2024, but the show was postponed after Steven Tyler was hurt.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Thompson-Boling Arena at Food City Center has announced the rescheduled date for the Aerosmith concert.

The concert will take place on Saturday, Oct. 5. All previously purchased tickets will be honored, the Food City Center said.

The band was scheduled to play at Thompson-Boling Arena at Food City Center on Jan. 13, 2024, as part of its farewell tour. However, the show was postponed after superstar singer Steven Tyler suffered a vocal injury.

The singer seriously damaged his vocal cords during a show on Sept. 9, 2023, which originally prompted the band to postpone shows in multiple cities until he healed up.

Any remaining concert tickets will be on sale on TicketMaster's website on Friday, April 12 at 10 a.m.
