New 'Blessing Box' opens in Anderson County, community invited to help keep it stocked

The box is located in Clinton and is stocked with dry food, baby diapers and household items.

ANDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. — A new "Blessing Box" opened in Clinton, giving families a place where they can find food and household supplies if they need it.

Anderson County Emergency Medical Services said it was open at the organization's Clinton location. According to a post on social media, the community was invited to help keep it stocked if they were able.

"Our desire is, when prices keep going up and many of our own are struggling to make ends meet, please visit and take only what you need. No one should try to figure out where their next meal will come from, how to put diapers on their baby, or if they need to rehome their pet due to a small setback," the Anderson County EMS said on social media.

The post on social media said EMS providers see the needs of families daily and wanted to help make sure they were able to eat and get basic supplies.
