The Morristown Police Department said it arrested the man who hit a crossing guard with a car near Witt Elementary School on Wednesday morning.
Donnie Gray, 45, was arrested and taken to Hamblen County Jail for aggravated assault on Wednesday.

The Morristown Police Department said it was searching for a person after a crossing guard was hit by a car near Witt Elementary School Wednesday morning.
They said the crossing guard was treated for a minor injury at a hospital and released Wednesday. They said they were searching for the driver of the car and the vehicle involved, but no identifying information about the car or the suspect was available.
