LOUDON COUNTY, Tenn. — Traffic was backed up for miles on Interstate 40 East Wednesday evening after a vehicle flipped across the road at the Interstate 75 split.
According to the Tennessee Department of Transportation, the crash happened at mile marker 367 around 7:15 p.m. Wednesday.
Traffic was backed up to Buttermilk Road as of 7:30 p.m.
As of 8:30 p.m., all lanes of I-40 were open and traffic was beginning to move again.
