THP: One person dead after car, motorcycle crash on U.S. 411 in Blount Co.

BLOUNT COUNTY, Tenn. — The Tennessee Highway Patrol said one person is dead after a car and motorcycle crashed on U.S. 411 in Blount County.

The Blount County Sheriff's Office said it assisted in responding to the crash.

According to a THP preliminary report, the car was turning left from Hinkle Road onto Sevierville Road, and the motorcycle was driving south on Sevierville Road. They said the motorcycle then crashed into the car at an angle.

They said the driver of the car, Gregory Rayburn, 35, is facing a charge of vehicular homicide.

They identified the driver of the motorcycle who passed away as Robert Anderson, 30.
