KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A South Knoxville crash closed down a section of Chapman Highway near John Sevier Highway on Tuesday.
The Knoxville Police Department said two people were taken to the hospital after six vehicles crashed.
The closure also affected some KAT bus routes. KAT said by 5:15 p.m., the highway was reopened and Route 41 had resumed its regular service.
Before reopening, there was no service on Chapman Highway between Mountain Grove Drive and Young High Pike, KAT said in a tweet.
